Our Story

A Taste of Home,
Right Here
in Brooklyn

If you've walked past 553 86th Street and caught the scent of freshly baked sesame balls drifting from the kitchen, you already know Bing Ling Tea is something special.

We are a small, neighborhood bakery and tea house rooted in the Chinese culinary tradition. Our pastries are made by hand each morning — egg tarts with buttery, flaky shells, custard buns that melt on the tongue, and fried dough sticks crisp on the outside, soft within.

Our tea selection is chosen with the same care: oolong that carries the memory of misty mountains, jasmine that perfumes the room, and pu-erh with depths that reward the patient sip. Whether you're joining us for a quiet morning cup or gathering with family over dim sum, we want you to feel like you've come home.
